Maxtek Components, a part of examination devices manufacturer Tektronix, offers semiconductor layout, presentation, and production solutions. Together with Tektronix, Maxtek assists clients in the programmed screening devices, image resolution, healthcare apparatus, and army/aerospace marketplaces. The organization records its origins back to the development of the Hybrid Components Organization (HCO) within Tektronix in 1970; HCO was established to provide elements for Tek instruments and test equipment. HCO was spun off as a mutual business among Maxim Integrated Products and Tektronix in 1994 and renamed Maxtek. Tektronix reacquired the business in 2000.
