ROHM was founded in Kyoto in 1958 as originally a producer of small automated elements. In 1967 manufacturing was enhanced to incorporate transistors and diodes, and in 1969 ICs and other semiconductor solutions were included to the selection. Two years after (in 1971), going towards standard Japanese organization customs, the organization joined the US industry by setting up a sales workplace and IC layout facility in Silicon Valley. By means of diligence and enthusiastic commitment of its youthful employees, company prospered, resulting in the business to take serious notice. ROHM’s growth internationally soon turned a theme for other manufacturers and ultimately was acknowledged as standard company training.
